Joe,

Here is a picture of how I ran my rudder wiring. You can see the corrugated
tubing I used. Note the smaller plastic tube that runs to the rudder trim
servo. The other end goes into the larger tube, and is long enough so the
end is just inside the end of the larger tube. This allows you to run the
trim servo wiring through the small tube and the lighting wires through the
larger--and keep them separate.  You'll need a five-wire cable for the
rudder trim servo, two wires for the tail light, and three (shielded) wires
for the tail flash unit--these latter should be provided in your kit.

Jim cut his tubing off flush with the front of the rudder closeout and
bonded it in place there. I extended mine through the front closeout--with a
slotted hole in the closeout that allows the tube to pivot from side to
side, and extends into the sternpost hole. It's also used for removal of the
elevator push tube. The wires have short leads with connectors   (like the
sample I sent you) that are secured to the sternpost and are accessible
through the elevator control access plates.

Be especially careful when you install the left side rudder skin not to kink
or twist the comm antenna lead wire while snaking it through. It's stiff and
easy to twist--breaking or shorting the case to the center wire. Either
renders the antenna useless.

Hope this helps.

Bob

servo / light wiring.  I'd like to install some type of light weight conduit
first so I can fish through or replace wire more easily<<
