Same problem all of us have.  It is simply impossible to drain the Legacy
Andair Gascolator without cutting a hole in the cowling, or somehow routing
the plumbing over the exhaust stack (not so good an idea) and putting a
remote drain somewhere. Even if you could reach in to drain it, you cannot
catch the effluent, it simply runs down your arm, onto the cowling, and
anywhere gravity takes it!  I got tired of getting wet.

I am modifying mine next week with a Cessna style gascolator.  Catching the
effluent is not as important to me as draining the gascolator before first
flight of the day.  Now, if I can find a small bucket to carry with
me.......
