I've got the same problem in the area just back of the spinner at the high point of the top cowling. I'm a little confused about the "glass and graphite around and under the spinner area" I guess it's the "and under" portion that's the problem. Could you describe it a little more, did you go completely around the half circle of the top cowling ?? I've mirrored George's work over the years, the crack doesn't appear to be growing but it is annoying. Don Skeele N320J 650 hrs.
At the top and front of top cowling just behind the prop spinner I added
additonal graphite fiber strands and several bid of glass and graphite
around and under the spinner area. Worked. I have no cracking.
