I already met the builder from Finland. Every day I read the Lancair news and it's like a newspaper for me. I read there have been many incidents of runway excursions or near excursions which were the result of Nylaflow failures. Jim Frantz / Marshall Michaelian and others solved the problem by installing Aeroquip or lines from DH instuments. For me here in Holland its a little bit difficult to make a shopping list to replace all the nylaflow. The best choice I think is the DH-line Michaelian installed but I'm not sure. Another problem I have is getting the new style speedbrakes of Precise Flight before I close the wings. I ordered and payed for the speedbrakes more than a year ago and they don't even inform their customers what is going on. Vern Pifer of Lancair Customer service is very helpful but his hands are tied. Is there someone who has already installed the new style speedbrakes? Best regards, Sjef Brugemann (from Texel, a small island North of Holland)
