There was a record kept on them and if a wrench game in so many times in a
row out of tolerance it would be red tagged and go to salvage and be sold as
salvage. Different types and wrenches for different purposes of course had
different tolerances. I can't remember the spec. as it was 15 years ago. I
haven't got to the point on my 360 where I need a torque wrench yet but when
I do I will make sure it is calibrated especially when it comes to wing
bolts and any other critical bolts.
