320/360 Main Gear -
Over time creaking noises have increased emanting from the main gear wells - sounding much like my own aging joints. These sounds are exacerbated by pushing sideways on the fuselage. In order to eliminate these sounds I have dropped the flaps and re-tightened the bolts going thru the rear spar and the rear (sorry, aft) main gear pivots. I have also tightened the 4 bolts that secure each forward main gear pivot bracket. They did actually tighten and the creaking has ceased. Apparently there is some loosening of these brackets and then sight movement about the rear spar and forward phenolic can result in this creaking. Either glass/phenolic shrinks or AN bolts stretch. Remember to use the German torque method: Gut und tite.
