For me, with 2 batteries behind the seat and with the Aerocomposites
prop, I didn't see a problem. I plan to move the AC system around to
keep things where I'd like, and I also plan to have a lot of baggage (2
Labradors to be exact). My batteries are about 15#'s each, so I think
it's a non issue really. Instead of having one 20#?? battery in the
back, you have 2 that total about 30# closer to cg. Seems to work for
me, but I haven't put any definite numbers to it yet. There are just so
many variables that go into it like the center fuel tanks, avionics, and
weight of the pilot.....makes it tough to all figure out until the last
minute.

I do not have a Legacy owners manual. I am planning dual batteries and
will
have a 3 blade Hartzell prop and Rick's supercharger. Will 2 batteries
behind the seats fall within the CG range or does one need to be behind
the
baggage bulkhead?
