LNC 2 / N233L now has 45 hours total time, and I have
enjoyed every minute of it. During that time I have explored all of
my go faster for cheap ideas and experienced some modest gains in
performance. Having exhausted all my ideas and in the absence of any
revelations from this news letter, I have decided to go faster for not so
cheap. This process is really fairly simple. Make more horsepower,
don't add weight or drag, and efficiently convert that horsepower to
thrust. That's the upside. The downside is of course money.
So, to support my need for more speed, I am offering my firewall
forward for sale. This includes the
following:
1. Dick Demars/Lycoming
O320-B1A, 180 horsepower, 1745 TTSN, 45 SCMOH, Type 1 Dynafocal mount,10:1
compression Lycon pistons, dynamic balancing,
solid flange crank, flow matched cylinders, porting/polishing, high performance
cam, ceramic heat barriers, new mags, new starter, new alternator, new fuel
pump, complete baffling, beautifully detailed, running strong, and in perfect
condition.
2. Hartzell
HC-F2YL-1F/F8468D-14 Propeller, 45 TTSN, purchased new from Lancair in
perfect condition, Woodward governor, 45 TTSOH, Spinner, 45 TTSN, painted white
and in perfect condition.
I would like to sell this as a package to some one
building a 320/360. Current OEM (not retail) pricing for equivalent new
equipment is ~$30,000. I am offering mine for $22,000. Save
