Landing gear light switches LNC2
A few month ago we did the decision and bought a 235 for our flying club. After about 500hours of rework we started to teach a selected group of our members to fly this lancair. We now have about 50 hours and 250(!) landings on Ong's deboingers acummulated in 12 weeks. This little bird is a dream to fly!!
Everything works fine except of those tiny little microswitches for the landing gear lights. We are using the MAC gear annunciator panel and especially on cold and wet weather weather the LED's are glowing because of the switches being not sealed against water. The deicing fluid used on the runway does the rest. I have changed the switches again and would like to know if anybody else experienced this probleme and how it could be fixed… Are there sealed microswitches for the LNC2 availiable?
