I'm not having any success with the 3M gap tape used on the Diamond Katana,
a much slower airplane.  It has blistered twice now under the right wing
ahead of the flap and caused a hi freq.  We soon remove it and fly without.
I ordered the Piper style Tee bulb moulding and am struggling to get it
installed.  It seems to big and I must cut the bulb alot in order to pass
over the spars, etc.  I have seen a slightly smaller Tee bulb extrusion used
on another IV-P but never got to speak with the owner about it.  I am not
yet up to paint and don't want to use silicone RTV just yet... or at all if
there is a better solution.  Do any of you guys who have been flying for a
while know of a solution or know of a Tee bulb extrusion suitable for our
machines?
Thanks in advance,
