Walter:  I have seen a black "rubber" wing root seal for a Piper at Spruce on 
their will call stock shelves that looks like a good solution for our IVs.  I 
think it is the one listed on page 124 in their catalogue, P/N 05-00030 for 
$34.50 a side.  If you decide to give it a try, let me know how it works.
