How do you like your Navaid Autopilot??  I was told if it's not installed very carefully, you will get a pitch change every time the unit commands a bank.  I would like to install one if it works well. Although I will have a square transponder antenna under each seat, I could probably move one back if necessary.

The Navaid works just fine on cross country flight and localizer approaches. I don't use it on VORs because the GPS always works better. It has broken 3 times but Navaid has fixed it for between $0.00 and $75.00 in less than a week every time. I use it 100% of the time when in cruse. It has NO pitch change when it is turning. Of course, the autopilot doesn't hold altitude therefore you have to control the pitch yourself.

Although I like my Navaid and in particular it's support and price of $1,300, you should also look at the TruTrak's cheapest model named the Digitrak. The Digitrak sells for $1,800 and has been on sale in the past for $1,500. The Digitrak doesn't couple to the nav radios but it has a built in solid state gyro that will hold an indicated heading without precession.
