It is only required that the engine still be turning/windmilling, not
running. If your engine seizes and/or looses its oil supply then your
prop control will not be able to help you. Chris Zavatson
Isn't this conditional on the engine still running to have oil
pressure
to pull the prop to coarse pitch? I thought most of our props went
fine
on loss of pressure.<<<
