As you are aware, clearances are tight or nonexistant. I started my avionics stack about 1" down from the top for clearance. Even so, the radios will barely clear the canopy (1/4"?), and the attitude gyro will be close also. I do plan to tilt the panel 3 degrees plus as Lancair indicates. Anyway, the glareshield seems way off. I have seen others that look the same, the sides of the glareshield are nearly 3" below the forward deck to clear the canopy (forward hinged). Is there a basic lay up/attachment to account for this lack of fit?? Any input is appreciated. D. Story, ATP L-320, TPA
