Can you also find out what the lumens are? I was flying with a very bright 100,000 lumen 13 volt, 100 watt GE-4509. This bulb finally burned out after about 650 hours. I replaced it with a supposedly equivalent 100,000 lumen, 4 amp Halogen bulb from the auto parts store. This second bulb lasted about 1 hour. I have now switched to a 200,000 lumen 13 volt, 100 watt Q4509 from AS&S. The Q4509 is supposed to last 4 times as long as the original, have a narrower beam and have twice the candle power. I know that it is good enough for me. By the way, I have a retractable landing light under my left wing stub. -- Lorn H.
