I have one and have used in RV-4. It does work fairly well to keep you alert
to nearby traffic. Some false (I Think??) alarms. Antenna positioning
critical in my experience. Your own transponder can set off.

just wondering if anyone has any experience with the tpas(traffic proximity
alert system) that i saw available at headsets, etc. for $525. obviously
this wouldn't be for my lancair project but thought it may be helpful in my
bellanca super viking or when doing aerobatics if it really works.
