Actually, the two posts (bolts) protrude from the cockpit closeout rib. I keep a trickle charger on my battery from those posts whenever my airplane is inactive for more than four or so days. I have got a jump start from those posts in the wheel well once when my battery was in the process of dying. I have enjoyed much greater battery life now since I use the trickle charger.
