Subject: Smart Level Zeroing for Angle Determination (Corrected)

To: <lml>
I left out a step in 2a. Below is the corrected version.

To Zero your SmartLevel for normal use:

1) Turn on level and place in a flat spot. Wait 10-15 sec.
2) Press and hold RESET until CAL1 appears
3) Rotate level end for end and wait 10-15 sec.
4) Press and hold RESET until CAL2 appears. You are now ready to work

To Zero your SmartLevel for relative angle determination:

1a) Perform Step 1 above in the baseline position, such as the elevator
at full down
2a) Perform Steps 2-4 above, but DO NOT rotate end for end, leave it in
the same position
3a) Angle measurements will now be relative to the baseline angle in
1a.

I hope this helps.

Mike Hutchins
