Interesting, My last BFR. The instructor was afraid to fly in the Lancair. Soooo rudder pedals or not some instructors avoid a homebuilt. Let me tell you; a C-172 is ssloooooow motion. I guess she wanted to get one more hour of instruction time.<< Smart instructor. I wish more instructors were like her. She didn't have the experience to safely instruct you and she had the courarge to tell you so. BTW it is NOT legal to instruct in an aircraft with a single set of flight controls, rudders included.
