People that have purchased their's more recently seem to have the
Macklanburg-Duncan's SmartTool. This is the one that John Kleber points
out does not have alternate zero. That would be a nice feature.

I have saw another product that was used in "From the Ground Up" in
building an RV-8, but I don't seem to be able to find information about
it.
I am guessing that the unit you are looking at is the MD Smart Tool
mentioned above. I can't remember seeing a price better than $90 for the
digital module. I did a quick search before sending this response out,
and I found sources with the MD Smart Tool prices at the $90 to $108
range for the module only.
