So we might all be talking about the same components. The struts already on my 360 were made by AVM (www.avminc.com) and say "Engineering Prototype" on them. The AVM website doesn't list any models with the same numbers as that found on my existing struts, leading futher evidence that they are a custom part. In any case I've replaced them often enough that its time to try a new part. Using a Scale I measured my existing ( and very weak struts ) at 55lbs, which is not enough to keep the canopy upright even if placed in the fully open position. I've ordered a set of Struts from McMaster Carr, I'll report back to the group once I get them and install them on my 360.
