Compare the inflated size of any alternative tire you are considering.  The
dimensions
will vary a lot when comparing tires of the same size from different
manufacturers, models and ply ratings.  I lined up about 5 different tires
on
the counter at Sacramento Sky Ranch looking for the smallest diameter only
to discover that inflation changes everything.  The largest became the
smallest after inflation, etc. etc..

Changing the subject slightly, Michelin "Air Stop" Tubes leak down at about
1/10 the rate of other brands.  Well worth the extra cost.   I'll take
partial credit for this product since I suggested it to Michelin Reps at Sun
n Fun a few years before they came out.
