Johnson, MD" : Brad is correct, I had to relieve more space around the outer aspect of the gear door flange when switching from the MCCreary's to the Goodyear Custom Flight II's. I asked the Goodyear rep at SunNFun whether the II's are the same size as the new III's. He said yes, BUT pointed out that there is up to a 3/8" size variation allowed in the manufacturing process (and showed me the tables indicating that)! With that said, and with our tight clearances already, the take-home message is for us to do a gear retract test upon every tire change to make sure we have clearance.
