Recently I took my starter drive to Pacific Continental Engines, Inc, of
Van Nuys, CA for the repair on our zero time engine. They were most kind
and very helpfull in all respects.
I learned from John Jackson, owner, that they have a new approved
modification of your removed parts, ie, cover and housing, which can save
you a lot of money. Your parts are modified to incorporate the alignment
dowels used in the new parts.
I have no interest in that company other than to let you know of this
available money saving service.
Contact Brett or John at: Pacific Continental Engines, Inc.

for details.
My engine is back together today and I plan to run it for the first time
as soon as I can pre-oil.
I had no luck cranking for oil pressure and am now building a pressure pot
to pre-oil. Any advice welcome.
Thanks and good luck,
