I'm a relative
newbie to the list myself, but to the extent that I have a "vote," I would vote
against splitting the list. I own a 320 built by someone else, and am
seriously considering building a Legacy. I read every post on the list,
even if the subject line sez IV or ES or whatever. I have learned things
from many of the non-LNC2 posts. The volume of posts isn't such that it is
burdensome to the reader to sort out stuff he/she isn't interested in.
Let's not make it any more complex than necessary!
I do have a request,
however. I participate in several other forums that have a much more
user-friendly interface. I don't know much about bulletin-board or forum
software, but I like the forum format where a thread on a particular posting is
kept together in chronological order. I presume there would be some
expense involved for Marv. I would be willing to bear my fair share of the
cost (That reminds me, I need to send Marv my $35!!).
