My preference is not to split the list. I'm a
relatively new subscriber but so far I've found it fairly easy to page through
the postings and skip, skim, or read in detail depending on the subject
matter. While I'm primarily interested in Legacy postings I've found
several mail threads on other models to be very interesting, informative,
and frequently entertaining.
