It's the one used on the RV4's and RV6's with O-320 engines. One of the reasons that the Lancair airbox is so crummy is that it trys to fit between the carb and the bottom of the unmodified cowling. That makes it way too thin and way too complicated (IMHO). So installing the Van's box will require you to lower the airscoop area of your cowling by about 1 1/2 inches. With a little body work, no one will know. My extremely unscientific guess is that any increase in drag from the slightly larger airscoop area of the cowling will be offset by the more efficient shape and design of the Van's box. (better pressure recovery, see the past several day's posts). My speeds seem to be about the same as most other 320's (except Scott, of course who's much faster :-).
