Has anyone considered tip tanks on this model? Someone else started my kit and the wings were almost finished with only a 92 gallon capacity. The belly tank adds only 10 or 12 gallons and I would like about 25 more total fuel capacity. 130 gallons would be much more comfortable to me and tip tanks seem an easy way to get up to that level. The aileron roll moment seems to be adequate, bunt I am worried about flutter. Any opinions out there? Jim Hankins ----- Original Message ----- Wrom: HJYFMYXOEAIJJPHSC I think you should also contact Martin Holman about the flutter. I doubt it's really flutter since most flutter begins as a divergent oscillation, in other words, it gets worse until the thing blows up. Martin did the flutter analysis of the Lancairs so he would know and would certainly give you an opinion.
