ah yes...  when does one accept the risk of added failure modes for some
benefit...      
 
would you fly an EFIS if it displayed an image of your old HSI?              
 
would you fly electrically powered mags if it didn't find best power /  
economy for you?
 
it takes a total new way (HITS or best power computer) for me.
