Ok, makes more sense now.  I'm quite familiar with the PRISM, just not
the FTLR term.  I'm actually (hopefully) one of the first in line to get
one of the PRISM systems for my supercharged IO-550.

Also, as I was once interested in FADEC (pre-PRISM), I know a bit about
it.  Your comment about it being only ROP operation is false.  It
actually operates at 50 LOP on the economy setting at up to 65% power.
After 65% on economy (for some dumb reason) it switches to ROP.  I still
don't agree with the system design, but they got it a little closer than
you gave them credit for :)
