The bad news is if you install the rudder cables a
little too high, you must shim up the baggage compartment closeout tube to clear
the cables. The good news is if you do that, you can then use a few wood screws
(especially if you used wood shims) to anchor the closeout down instead of
floxing it, thus enabling removal for later access to what lies beneath. Ya
gotta stay flexible (where structural items are not involved).
