I was horrified to open my wheel caliper box to find the brake pad in the bottom of the box not attqached to the metal backing plate. Is this standard certified aircraft quality. I will be sending the brakes back to Lancair. Also the mounting hub on the axle spacing was wrong and would not allow the caliper to float like it is suposed to. Is this also normal or am I just being picky?
