If you check out the Article on Lancair and their road to certification of the Columbia 300 in the September 2002 issue of Kitplanes you'll find a reference Lance makes to the development of the IVP and its customer base.

Interestingly, he says when Lancair developed the IVP he knew he would get (customers) which were the "low hanging fruit" (wealthy professionals).

LOW HANGING FRUIT???
