That might not be such an outrageous idea, given the fact that Glasair aircraft built to spec can be spun and recovered quite predictably and conventionally (although one Glasair-3 I tested with wingtip extensions and sloppy rigging took some unconventional maneuvering to recover.)
When an extremely knowledgeable, skilled, experienced (and brave) pilot like Dave Morss says "Don't spin it", I would expect the rational person to pay careful attention.
(On the other hand, in view of the responses from all the girls out there who are even afraid of STALLS, I guess it probably doesn't matter.
