Hi Jim,
I sure wish I was where you are in flight hours.  I'm grounded
indefinitely, as this afternoon, my right wing sprung a big fuel leak.  The
same thing happened last week when we put gas in for the first time.  My red
faced builder assist guy, who told me he had leak checked both wings after
we closed them in 2000 had to admit that they must have goofed and checked
the same wing twice, as there is no way they'd have missed a leak that big.
We ended up cutting a hole in a void between the aileron bellcrank and idler
arm to suck some hysol into the leak area and put some more on the outside,
which fixed the problem.  Today I was taxiing back from an avionics shop on
the other side of the airport and when I parked, fuel was running out of
both inspection panels on the right wing.  Funny thing is that when the
plane is parked, it holds gas all the way out to the end of the fuel bay, so
the leak must now be on the upper capstrip.
I also have several avionics glitches to get fixed, so it'll be awhile
before I get to fly the plane myself.
Glad to hear that your plane is working well.  I hope to join you soon!
Any idea when you'll try to sell it or what you'll be asking for it?
   Take care,
   Skip
