I am assembling my small horizontal stab and have noticed that there seem to be a number of different internal rib / spar layouts. My kit is a 235 and will, at least initially, have a 235 installed in it. The drawings supplied with the kit show 5 ribs and 1 full length aft closeout spar. The Lancair brochure of the same vintage as my kit shows a 320 horizontal stab with 6 ribs and 2 full length spars. Does anyone have any/enough experience with these different internal structures to advise me whether or not a deviation from the 235 drawings would be in order? Any other suggested changes to the 235 horizontal or vertical tail would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bill Olsen
