A few weeks ago, Brent Regan mentioned an Advisory Circular 90-89A titled
"Amateur Built Aircraft and Ultralight Flight Testing Handbook".  I looked
it up on the web, but since it was a rather large Adobe Acrobat document, I
decided to order one from the DOT so I could have a hard copy.  I sent a
request by letter to the Property Use and Storage address listed in Brent's
post.
   This week I got my request returned with instructions on ordering this
circular from the Government Printing Office, as the DOT apparently doesn't
give them out.  I called today and ordered one.  The bad news is that they
charge $9.00 a copy.  The good news is that they're sent postage free within
the U.S.
   There are several places you can order one, but I got mine from the GPO
in Washington D.C. at 202-512-0132.  They take credit cards.
