Jeremy,
I have a web page showing my hinge design on my plane. it is at

It works well on the ground, but it has not been flight tested.
I thought it was a little too beefy and would make it smaller if I did it
again
the unit has a slight overcenter to the action to keep the front locked down
in flight.

I believe that several 320/360 builders have made up their own forward
canopy hinges mounted on the fuselage side wall to allow the header tank and
the canopy to be removed separately. I know that Pete Cavitt and Jim Frantz
