While I really like the pro's of flaperons, the cons far outweigh them
IMHO.  Thanks for your input on this, I really appreciate it.  As much as I
would like to simplify and lighten things on my aircraft, this is obviously
not the right place to do so, as there's no way I would consider degrading
the performance and handling for the sake of a few pounds.  I guess I'll
have to look elsewhere.  Thanks again.
