I was so happy about my engine cooling problems being solved and my indicated airspeed up 5kts with the new cowl that I neglected to report fully as to my long mount findings. The fact is my CG moved 1.7 in.forward and the very troublesome pitch sesitivity has all but disappeared. It is like a different airplane.I have the small tail also.I was considering retrofit of the big tail but have, since flying nearly 50 hrs with the new mount ,decided it is not needed.I would however recomend to those that have not installed there small tail to upgrade to the big tail. They do fly a bit nicer. In addition I have installed Dick Reichels geared trim system. It is wonderfull. For the first time I have a plane I can trim in any configuration. It is very easy to retrofit also. Thank You and Merry Christmas to all Tom Giddings 360TM
