I plan to put fuel filler bash plates in the wings of my Legacy. The
wings come with the fuel sealer already applied. I was planning to rough
up the sealer with 80 grit sandpaper, and maybe drill a couple of holes
around the perimeter of the aluminum plate so the epoxy can squeeze
through and get a better mechanical grip.

Is this adequate? Should I use epoxy or Hysol?
