I'm hoping to do some experiments on some experimentals so I can do some articles and lecture over at Oshkosh. Most of the time I work on large planes. I was out 9 months last year working on MD-80's re. an FAA AirworthinessDirective. Rememberthe SwissAir MD-11 that crashed about 3-4 years ago? That was due to a fire that didn't self-extinguish in the acoustic insulation. And I may be out a lot again next year working on a bunch of Boeing planes. So that means it may have to wait a year or so. My company wouldn't mind supporting the work but United and American airlines pays the bills! Dan
