Mark,
I have detailed instructions in my IV-P manual for installing this type
antenna in the tail. The antenna blades do pass through the skin/rib joins
in two or three places, but the remaining bond joints are considered
sufficient to hold the skin in place. Also, the blades are covered with a
single bid--mostly to hold them in place. Concept is that they will flex a
bit relative to the skin during heating and cooling to no bad effect as long
as they physically stay in place. Can fax or mail the relevant instructions
if you'll send forwarding info.
