I recently obtained some  full color LEDs.  


That is,  they have  RED, BLUE, GREEN  leds built into the same small unit.

4 wires.  One common, and three  inputs.

By varying the current through the three inputs in different combinations,
you can make the single light be ANY color in the rainbow.

Neat deals.
