Could we please ask Ed to give us the address and phone number for Aero-Tek,
also if he has a contact name?

Did Ed remove other parts before he arrived at the cylinders?  He says "As I
removed parts and capped off the lines"  Were these parts cylinders? Or did
he just remove the hose(s) from the individual parts one by one and cap them
so as to check if that particular component was the culprit? Maybe he could
give us a sequence of the investigation.

As I understand it from other members who have had hydraulic problems it is
usually the double acting cylinders that allow pressure to flow from the HP
side to the LP side.  That is unless you have an obvious external leak.

I believe I have a problem with gear retraction.  I have not flown the A/C
yet but with it on stands I have had instances when the gear would not
retract.  I subsequently fitted HP and LP gauges but have not been able to
have the A/C in a condition where I could do gear tests.  I expect to be
able to do that very soon.

Regards

Ian Crowe
