Did Ed remove other parts before he arrived at the cylinders? He says "As I removed parts and capped off the lines" Were these parts cylinders? Or did he just remove the hose(s) from the individual parts one by one and cap them so as to check if that particular component was the culprit? Maybe he could give us a sequence of the investigation. As I understand it from other members who have had hydraulic problems it is usually the double acting cylinders that allow pressure to flow from the HP side to the LP side. That is unless you have an obvious external leak. I believe I have a problem with gear retraction. I have not flown the A/C yet but with it on stands I have had instances when the gear would not retract. I subsequently fitted HP and LP gauges but have not been able to have the A/C in a condition where I could do gear tests. I expect to be able to do that very soon. Regards Ian Crowe
