Thanks for your informative narrative Ed.  I'm wanting hyd gages in my
system as well but have no plan as to where to tap the system for these two
pressure readings.

What pressures are your two gages reading?

I'm also wanting to work in a method to easily isolate individual hyd
components, for trouble shooting purposes.  If successful, this approach
should make trouble shooting internally leaking components a bit faster,
cleaner and more certain.  Capping off pressure lines is one way but messy.
It would be helpful to find a small, in line valve, turned with a screw
driver or allen wrench, to enable isolation of cylinders.

Do such valves exist?

Has anyone considered trying to simplify the hyd system by using only ONE
pressure AND a hyd selector valve to direct the flow?

Questions, questions, questions .... any answers out there ... opinions?
