When I was wrapping up my ES order last July, I asked that question. As of
July 2001, Lancair aircraft had sold about 170 Lancair ES kits since they
first started taking orders in 1995, and by then there were about 40
completed and flying. I know there have been more kits sold since then, some
of them have contacted me. I am not aware of specific ES first flights
since, but I would guess they may have been a few.
