I have a MK II tail kit which I am installing on a partially completed LNC
2. The kit had the original tail already installed, and the vertical
stabilizer is also complete. Has anyone on the list been through this
retrofit?  Any advice on how to get a strong bond between the
hstab and the fuselage?

The instructions provided by lancair look to be a chapter of
the legacy manual and assume that the vertical stabilizer is not in place.
