There is no problem in pulling the prop
all the way back and in fact is required
to get the best glide.  Don't forget to
run the prop control back in prior to
adding power though. The very best =

glide is achieved by stopping  the prop
which requires slowing to about 80 knots
with the engine at idle cutoff.

Best glide occurs at around 105 knots
in a 360 but actually is a function of =

angle-of-attack not airspeed.

I believe several L-IV lives and =

aircraft would have been saved
last year alone with AOA providing =

best glide and stall warnings.
