Don't forget to run the prop control back in prior to adding power though. The very best = glide is achieved by stopping the prop which requires slowing to about 80 knots with the engine at idle cutoff. Best glide occurs at around 105 knots in a 360 but actually is a function of = angle-of-attack not airspeed. I believe several L-IV lives and = aircraft would have been saved last year alone with AOA providing = best glide and stall warnings. James B.
